1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how GridCrush ("the App", "we", "our") handles information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

2. Information We Collect

GridCrush does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number.

The following data is collected automatically through third-party services integrated into the App:

3. Analytics (Firebase Analytics)

We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the App is used and to improve the gameplay experience. Firebase may collect:

App usage events (e.g., game started, game over, score achieved)
Device information (device model, operating system version, screen size)
General location (country/region level, not precise location)
App performance data

4. Crash Reporting (Firebase Crashlytics)

We use Firebase Crashlytics to detect and fix crashes and errors. When a crash occurs, Crashlytics collects:

Device state at the time of the crash
Device model and OS version
Stack traces and error logs

This data helps us improve the stability of the App. It does not contain personal information.

5. Advertising (Google AdMob)

GridCrush displays rewarded video advertisements through Google AdMob. These ads are always player-initiated — they only play when you choose to watch them in exchange for an in-game reward.

Google AdMob may collect:

Advertising ID (a resettable device identifier)
Device information and general location
Ad interaction data (views, clicks)

Google may use this information to serve relevant ads. You can control ad personalization through your device settings under Settings > Google > Ads. For more details, see Google's Privacy Policy.

6. Data Stored on Your Device

GridCrush stores the following data locally on your device using Android DataStore:

Game progress (high score, statistics, settings preferences)
Saved game state (so you can resume where you left off)

This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server. You can clear it at any time through your device's app settings.

7. Children's Privacy

GridCrush is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App does not contain any content specifically designed to appeal to children.

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your information to third parties. Data collected by Firebase and AdMob is governed by Google's privacy policies. No additional data is shared with any other parties.

9. Data Retention

Analytics and crash data is retained according to Google Firebase's default retention policies (typically 14 months for analytics data). Local game data is retained on your device until you uninstall the App or clear its data.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Reset your Advertising ID through your device's settings
Opt out of ad personalization in your device's Google settings
Delete local game data by clearing the App's data or uninstalling it
Request information about data collected by contacting us

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
